Local water supply project  in Meuang Peak district, Phoukoud district and xiengkhouang specific economic zone is the 100% government investment owner projects by planning and investment division of Xieng Khouang province and Daosavanh Company is the contractor of project. The project achieved in the end of 2018, it has manufacture capacity 25.000 m³/day and divide into 3 parts such as water resources, factory system and reservoir.

This project according to Xiengkhouang province’s development plan for improving the livelihood of people around project area to have enough water, have clean drinking water, improving people's living conditions and contributing to province’s development objectives of promoting economic growth, reducing poverty, make both villages and districts around project are more clean. In addition, it is a transit district between the provinces which is able to provide socio-economic development due to National Highway 7A and Road 1D.
